I have three BIS email accounts active on my storm and I have click on the view as webpage link to see messages with anything more than just plain text. What is the best way to view email with images?

Have you tried well inside the open

click bb button
select view images

That will display all the images inside the email

Thanks bmtenney but the option I have says "get images" and some of them download and some don't.

I am sorry I meant get images LOL still haven't had my full pot of coffee this morning. Hmm I have never had all of the images not display when selecting that. Let me see what I can find for you

See if this helps, go to messages > bbmenu > options > email settings > set "enable html email" to yes, and download images automatically to yes.

Also check to be sure you have your email settings set to "Download Images Automatically'
click Messages icon>BB Button>options>email settings> edit the option to Download Automatically>BB Button>save
CRUZ is faster than I am ----definitely do what he suggests.

I think it depends on who sends the images. For example, United or Arrowhead images do not automatically come through even though I have everything set to enabled. However, a colleague will send me an article with graphics and those day. Perhaps its just a RIM (or sender) specific server issue but have not been able to determine 100% the root cause of this issue.

If the previous suggestions don't work, please report any messages that pop up (if they do). If they are attached to email, you should be able to get them. If they are attached to SMS, many carriers strip them off.

Yeah snunes even with those checked marked you will still have to select get images on some emails, but like I said I have never had the issue of it not downloading all of them. If you like send me the email in question and let me see what it does on my phone. That is if it isn't private LOL

If the images were included (as attachments) with the email they should display, if the images are referenced from an external website, they will not display them until you specifically indicate that they should be.

There are some security features in play here, and for those that do not have the unlimited data plans, it keeps them from burning through their data allocation viewing unwanted images.

I have always had those checked and I have never had an image download automatically. These are update emails from ebay, paypal, costco.

Ebay never does automatically for me
Paypal does
Don't receive Costco emails LOL

I have had this same problem and there are no settings in BB that will auto download images without the use of a third party app such as the one listed above which is 29.95 to buy.

I really appreciate the information HarleyFan and ealvnv, 30 bucks is a little on the steep side though for my budget. I will continue to download the images manually for the time being.

That is a good one. And they offer a few trial as well.

Empower HTML Viewer does NOT work on the 9530 Storm yet, they say its coming.......
