Thread: i have a weird os. 141-136

Hay fellow storm huggers. I have a issue that's some what a weird one. I down loaded from this site 132os. I wiped with crack mem. And it loaded. Then checked my. Os and said 141-136.I've been using it since friday. Runs great. I looked at the modules and noticed I have141 and 132 modules mixed together. So I was wondering is this something new are a mixed link?help

sounds like you have the .109 radio in there

you just downloaded 132 and didnt download anything over it or did you make your own lil changes to it?

what link did you use? Sounds like your running the .141 hybrid and the .109 radio code.

what link did you use? Sounds like your running the .141 hybrid and the .109 radio code.

Ok thought I messed up. Now I'm going out 5.1 on it

I just downloaded the straight .132 from here: http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/9...-software.html and checked it...It's all .132 modules.
It appears you must have downloaded a hybrid (not .132) and changed the radio to .109?
If you now put Crackman 5.1 over it, it's going to take you back to the .132 or .141 radio depending on which installer you choose.

So, do you want it to be 109 sfi or asking if it is?

v5.1 is either the 132 sfi or the 141 sfi.
If you want it to be the 109, you will have to download the 109 , install it. Go to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Shared/Loader File and rt click and copy the OS to your desktop(or wherever you would like) then uninstall the OS using the Add/Remove program.

Now, install your base OS, then install the Hybrid.
Go back to your desktop into the 109 OS and rt click and copy the CDMA folder.

Then go to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Shared/Loader Files and into the hybrid (132 or 141) rt click and paste. It will ask to overwrite, say yes.

Now you can install the OS into your device using Loader.exe

If all shows weird, I would suggest wiping and reloading. Make sure you back up phone and 3rd party apps first. Also double check that the OS is what you want it to be (ie shrunk, correct radio, vendor.xml deleted, etc) before you load it. Saves lots trouble
