Thread: How can I install korean language on input language option list?

Hi,

I am using storm 9530.

I have updated my cell to ver 5.0 but I can not find korean langauge on input language option.

But my friend use BB torch which is enable him to input korean language.

Please help me!!!

I could be wrong but I think you need to download a OS that says multi language

Your correct berrycool. You can look on RIM's site for an official multi language or look in our download section

Did you use an operating system from your carrier or another?
Did you delete the vendor file?
Did you delete old os versions?

If you answered no to any of the above, let me know and we'll get you set up

The operating system you are installing, is it from your carrier, this is important to know. You answered yes above but to which?

Secondly, what is the operating system on your computer, xp, vista, windows 7?

Answer those 2 questions and I will tell you how to get it into your device.

the operation system that I using is blackberry 5.0.0 system software. but I don't know where is it from.

I answered your pm and explained what you need to do. Use the link I put below for the operating system you want to download. What is not in the tutorial is how to erase the device software from your loader files. Do everything in the tutorial first, then do the following steps BEFORE loading the new operating system to your computer.

Go to

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files

Highlight and delete all files you see there. Now you are ready to laod the new operating system to your computer and device. You will find the operating system to use here...MTS_Mobility_9530_5.0.0.419 - Downloads - BlackBerry Forums at BlackBerryOS.com

BE SURE TO DELETE YOUR VENDOR FILE!!! That is explained in the tutorial.
