Thread: Media card EMPTY??

The whole time I've had my storm the memory card always shows total space 7.3GB, Available space 7.3GB. It is set to save to card but appears that nothing is saving to card. When I try to read card when phone is plugged in it shows nothing. Any ideas? What does everyone else's read?

Make sure you turn the mass storage mode on otherwise you will not be able to view the card from pc.

Well when I go into memory shouldn't it show how much space is used on my card?

7.3 is where all the ones i have seen start (it's the starting size empty) why i dont know but they all start that way that i have seen,
When its plugged in it disables mass storage thats why when you go to memory it tells you to unplug it and wont show you any numbers. You also will not be able to look at any pics or videos while plugged in to DM
You can open Roxia from DM to see what is actually on the card or add pics and stuff from your computer to the card.
To make sure you have the card setup properly go to Options>Memory make sure the following are set like this
Media Support ON
Mass Storage Mode Support ON
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected Yes

By the way 7.3 (or an 8gb card is huge for a phone) I have 5 full length (2 hr. movies, about 200 pics and 80+ songs on my card and only have used 2gb
