problems with unlocked storm 9530
I recently purchased an unlocked BB Storm to use Tmobile services with. I am able to use the phone, text, internet, etc., but unable to set up my email accounts, use my BB Messenger, or the Browser. It has come to my knowledge that the phone had previously flashed to Metro PCS. can someone please help me. :burnout:
For your email and BBM to work, you need to have a Blackberry data subscription from you service provider. If you have wifi your browser should be able to work.

Have you tried to resend the service books?

Is your storm registered with the blackberry server? Just to make sure go to Options --- Advanced Options --- Host Routing Table and then hit the menu button and register now.

I have done all of that! I receive a 'registration' message but nothing changes. I have the service books, have installed manually. the only thing that has changed is that i am able to download apps from App world, but not able to set up emails or bbm. Tmobile reps say that everything should work correctly, but... Also, my 'EDGE' switches to 'egde' or 'gprs' often too.
