Anyone have a list of apps with memory leaks? I have installed uninstalled over and over to try to find the leaker and I'm at a loss.. Like one meg/hour. Been up 13 hours and I'm down 13 meg
Running v5 over .141

That's not too bad...depending on what you started with. Assuming you started in the 30 - 40's

In my experience each phone handles these apps differentlyThat being said I will list the ones that I have used that caused it
Air traffic control
Weatherbug
Quickpull
Most themes
BB app world (for some this is a cause but I don't have any issues)
Viigo
Now the above are what has caused leaks for me![]()
The new facebook is a memory and battery killer too
To add a few;
BerryWeather
MeterBerry
Vlingo
Quick Launch
all these apps run in the background even if you close them properly. Any app that monitors your mem status or batt status will run in the background
BerryWeather is a total mem hog
Vlingo depends on your set ups
These are just a few to add to the list
TalkLock
Visual Voicemal
VZ Navigator
Battery Booster (It supposed to increase battery life which is questionable at best but since it run in the background chomps away at memory)
This is in addition to those mentioned.above.
some others:
calls blocker
berry a code
wheater eye
any twitter apps but ubertwitter more than others
i have berrywheater now and i have no mems leaks asociated with it, I think it deppends on the settings you have
BlackBerry by Choice!
Weather bug was a hungry beast, as was first incarnation of Viigo.
I've now dropped Weather bug and Viigo, and noticed an increase of memory.
But with the replacement of Weather bug for Berry Weather, my memory stays the same (weird) as before it's install.:33:
Berryweather worked nice but I did have a bit of a memory leak with it. I found simple weather to work better with memory.
Running straight .132
agree with many of the apps listed as being a potential memory drain.
MeterBerry probably is not a major offender and removing it likely won't improve the situation much. I ran my device with MeterBerry being the only app "running in background". Here's the result.
EDIT:THANKS NEO for the attachment advice!

i dont think meterberry is the issue , i think its other things in the OS
it seems like with every OS its either battery life , or memory thayt sucks , i rather have a better battery cuzz i can always do pulls to get memory back![]()
