Facebook 1.8.0.49 Available?

I just got a notification from my bb app world that Facebook 1.8.0.49 is available. When I clicked on it it showed, version 1.7.0.22. I don't get it. Has anyone else been getting this notification?

App world may not have caught up yet. Sometimes that happens.

You can try this link from your blackberry browser.

I realize I'm joining a thread late, but I'm trying to downgrade from Facebook 1.9 back to the 1.8 version (1.8.0.49). I used the link above, but each time I try to download it (after saying "Yes" to the Replace Version question) I'm receiving an error message which says "Download Failed" and when I click on Show Details it says "907 Invalid COD."

Can anyone suggest how I can revert from Facebook 1.9 back to 1.8???

Hello Spaceman Welcome to BBOS!! You will love the atmosphere here. Unfortunately you wont be able to v1.8 from a dedicated RIM link. Or in our Downloads Tab. The only way that I can think of is if you knew someone that still had v1.8 and you could get the .cods from there device or if you yourself had the .cods for v1.8. Other then that your pretty much out of luck my friend.

Do you have a backup on your desktop with the previous version on it?

I don't... I never back up FB .cods... I just noticed that this link isn't a dedicated RIM link so scratch that for this situation but that statement is still valid if that makes sense lol.
