Thread: cant hear, sound is loud enough but muffled and distorted

My wife and I have the storm
Os.114 and are having trouble hearing when we are talking to each other(not selective hearing)
. The sound is loud enough but muffled and distorted. Music using speaker or headset is good. Any suggestions?

Yeah I would get off .114 and try a hybrid or .132 OS. I have nothing but issues with .114.

I couldn't agree more. .114 was nothing but a headache (as was .122). I would give any other OS or hybrid a shot as this should resolve your problem.

V5 isn't out yet, it will be out Firday night for VIP members and Saturday for the public. So if that is the one you want to try then you will need to wait.

You shouldn't need to use JL cmdr to install a new OS unless you want to. What I do when installing a hybrid on top of a hybrid is the following:

download the recommended base OS to the pc and install, then I install the new hybrid over that fresh copy of the full OS. This seems to eliminate any problems as I have never had any since doing it this way.
