Password Protecting my Storm 2
I would like to password protect my Storm 2 (not on exchange server) but I do not want to have to enter the password atleast every hour. I would like to have an app that would allow me to only enter the password once a day. Does anyone know of an app that I can install to accomplish this?
Thanks

Have you ever tried PatternLock? It's not your typical alphanumeric password protector. You basically create a pattern that will unlock your device. It has multiple settings and you can select it to your liking. You can pick up the free lite version here PatternLock Lite - Utilities BlackBerry Apps
Not sure if this is what you are looking for but give it a try. I love it.

Pattern Lock
I tried Pattern Lock Lite but it does not really fill the bill. I can set it for 4 hours after applications which would be acceptable but would have preferred longer time. The real issue is that the pattern choices are so simple (only allows 3 bubbles) that someone can very easily pick the pattern by triel and error.
Do you have any other suggestions?

I can't think of any app off the top of my head but have you checked Appworld at all?

Sorry, but what you are looking for does not seem to exist.
Everything I have looked at, has the following...
10 Sec
20 Sec
30 Sec
1 Min
2 Min
3 Min
5 Min
15 Min
30 Min
1 Hr
2 Hr
3 Hr
4 Hr
I think I saw one go to 5 Hr, but nothing came close to 24 Hours.
Sorry mate!

Thanks beside patternlock what other apps have you found that will allow 4 hours?
-
It think 4 hrs after an app closes shud be sufficient. Since if u use ur device within the 4 hrs the lock is delayed for another 4hrs. I'm certain u must touch your device atleast once every 4 hrs. Also u can make ur pattern as elaborate as you like. Nobody could accidentally get my pattern. That's like using your birthday as your numeric password.
Give pattern lock another look. Its by far the best lock app I've used. And coolest.

I agree 4 hours is adequate but PatternLock only allows me to use 3 "bubbles" and the pattern is so simple that I don't think it is adequate "password" protection. Do you have any other suggestions?
-
None, just the patternlock. That will be your best bet.
