Thread: Can't see pictures on computer

When I connect my storm to my lap to transfer pics there are no pics in the picture folder either on disk or on phone?

I have run into this problem quite a few times. Ok I lied, ALL the time. Do you have your mass storage mode turned on?

Yes I do. I don"t know if this is an OS problem or not. I know I could get them before but I just didn't know if it was a setting.

not to sound like you're an idiot but I just want to make sure you have the setting set correctly.

If you go to your options then click Memory, then click auto enable mass storage when connected and set it to YES if it is not and mass storage mode support as well.

Yes it is set to yes. When I connect to laptop I get both blackberry icons
Why does it say Device memoryand media card are not avalible because mass storage mode is in use

try restartin your pc. that may kill the process that is using your MSM.

I do not know where they are stored not in media card not in device mem or in system

If there are not on an sd, Then try navigating to c\J\home\user\pictures
* is whatever letter your pc gives your bb

See anything in that folder?

I have scrolled to all of those all files empty. I can not find pics on phone files from phone itself either?

try bringing up your camera the hitting the bb button then options. Should look like this.

At the bottom is where your pictures are stored.

Ok all setting the same. The pictures are in the all pictures under camera
But when get to laptop nothing?

Properties of one picture is: media card/bb/music/pictures
Does this mean picture is in music?

WOW that is where they are. How do I save to just picture folder?

Should look like this

Right click on pictures and see if it has files in it.

Also make sure the attributes are the same as shown.
