    Blackberry Storm Rebooting Issue when plugged into Computer???

    Hey fellow BBOS'ers! Here is my issue. I have been using a STORM for a long time now on Tmobile. Now that Tmobile and ATT will no longer be able to use the Blackberry Storm because of decisions made by RIM and Verizon, It no longer works. No more EDGE. I can get sms and mms but no internet access, hence no email. So, I am forced to go back to my Tmobile Curve. I am now trying to Wipe my Storm and install the latest Official Verizon .328 but after I wiped the Storm it started rebooting over and over again. I disconnected it from my computer and it stops rebooting and stays on the white screen "reload software 507". As soon as I plug it to the computer it starts is never ending cycle of rebooting again. How can I reload the Official OS .328 if it keeps rebooting when I plug it in? I have not SD memory card installed on the phone and no SIM card. Thanks in advance and God Bless!

    Yeah, I followed it to the "T". No cigar. I tried it twice. It starts to load the phone and then it starts the continuous rebooting loop again. Tried uninstalling the Desktop Manager reinstalling and still the same loop.

    Have you tried app loader?

    Start app loader and take your battery our of the phone. Plug your phone in and while app loader is searching for the device, plug the battery in quickly. It should then find your device and let you load the OS. This has happened to me before and that's how I solved it.

    Yeah, same result, endless loop. I have never had this problem before.

    I had same problem.If runnuing window 7 on computer had to reload os on laptop ended my problem

    You said you tried it twice...I have had to do this more than ten times before it will work.

    YES! I tried your advice! Turns out it was my Windows 7 PC that was causing it. I tried it on my Windows XP Laptop and it worked like a charm! I totally forgot that I had upgraded my PC internals and my Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Ultimate. It all makes sense now! Thanks everyone for your help! BBOS is so Awesome! So glad to be a part of this community!
