    9530 App Error 523

    My wife is in Europe and woke up to her Storm giving her this error. Anyone know how to correct it? I am headed over there tomorrow and can help her, if I know what to do!

    I would suggest restoring the apps back on to the phone one at a time until you can determine which app is causing the error. Good Luck!

    One more question....with Desktop Manager, can you backup more than one device per PC or are you limited to just your own? I am bringing my laptop, which is where I back up my device, but can I do that with hers?

    There should be no problem with that. If both devices are connected at the same time, click the pin number at the bottom and it will bring up a pop up menu in order to change devices in DM

    523 error means an uncompatible application, software has been installed, best way to fix it is to reboot the phone and delete any newly application/theme installed, if it comes back to that same screen you can remove the battery and re start the phone holding the back key until is turned on, it will ask if you want to start on safe mode and you have to click yes, once in safe mode she can wipe all third party applications installed, by going to options, security options, security wipe and just checkmarking 3rd party applications, that should get her back up and running again.

    there is no need to upgrade/downgrade os with this error.
