i am a huge fan of .132 great mem great batt life and great signal
How can I vote for .65?
.65 is coming up a lot. maybe if we brought it back we could truly appreciate what we have...
.90 for Tmobile people! :)
I have added .90 for all of you GSM users. Per Nikki618's request, I've added .65 since this is her favorite radio file :)
.141's got my vote
Well I was ready to pull the trigger and change to .113 or .109 today, I thing I will hold for another day with .132 and see how it is. I thought yesterday I experienced a large memory lose over a 12 hour period with my now current .132.
So I will see if I can give my phone a dose of Prozac today and see if that helps!
I personally had the best luck with .132...I have tried all of them, including .141 OS and radio from .141 was giving me constant data/connectivity loss.
I never had any real issues with .141, but it wasn't spectacular either. .132 drained my battery life extremely rapidly for some reason, sucking up 1-2% battery to send a single MMS message and draining the battery entirely in an hour with heavy browsing. Swapping to .109 gave me the signal strength and stability of .132 and increased my battery life ten fold back to where it's supposed to be. I may give .132 another shot in the future, but for now I'm going to avoid it like the plague as having my phone die before my work day was half over wasn't too fun.
As a new Storm owner, the consensus seems to be that for us GSM users (AT&T in my case), that .90 or possibly 1.09 provides the best performance? I'm currently running the 141 os with the 109 radio....used the swap a radio applet. (New to the Storm, just not to BB or modding stuff). Sometimes the data service takes forever and a day to access, but when it runs it seems to be pretty snappy for edge. - Just seems to be unavailable or take time to connect now and then (voice is fine). Since my Curve didn't generally have this issue, I'm thinking it may be the radio file and wanted to check.
Thanks Guys!
