    Verizon Navigator/GPS Question

    Forgive me if this has been asked before....

    Does anyone know...MUST you have Verizon's Navigator for the GPS to function... like for Poynt or Google MAPS, etc. ???? or is it JUST if you want to use their VZ Navigator?

    no you can delete verizon navigator, its a big memory hog

    As Stiefler said no you don't need VZ Navigator and if anything it drain memory very quickly. However, BB maps is required for some 3rd party apps to work like Weatherbug and a few others.

    As far as I know, Weatherbug is the only program that needs BB maps.

    Poynt (or was it Viigo) requires BBMaps as well...

    Poynt will give you the option of choosing either BB Maps or Gmaps.
