help booting up an old storm

ok been awhile but i went to use my storm as an alarm clock. went ahead and booted it up hasnt been booted in 6 months. nothing happened hooked charger to it come alive but it got frozen on the security check screen cant do nothing. well i left it alone powered up thinking it need awhile to work the kinks out. well around 4am the alarm went off i couldn't turn it off nothing yanked battery and threw it across the room. tonight i tried again same thing stuck on nov 2009 date at 4am totally whacked how can i recover my storm 9530? also can i do it with out a battery i seemed to have misplaced it..

How did you do all that....without a battery?

I was thinking of a solution until I read it worked without the battery... So, I have to ask - is it possessed?

no i had the battery in it. and when i couldn't shut it off i removed the battery and threw it across the room. so tonight i brought it home and went and tried to update or mess with it but i dont have a battery in it......

OHH Now both post's make sense... Lol.. Yeah, you need a battery for it to function at all.

so once i find a battery, what can i do to fix my storm? like i said i booted up and it froze at the security screen. its been idle for six months. the date is stuck at nov 09, at 4am.

When you get a battery, plug it in and do a full wipe with BBSAK then re-install your OS.

See if this helps...

When you find your battery...I would suggest wiping your phone. Since you don't have files to back up you will need to reset your info..date..time..etc. just like its a new phone.

I don't know...

If it won't boot up...you won't be able to back it up. So you're probably starting over. Did you have google sync on you phone...if so...you can reinstall that and log in and re-sync your contacts. Sorry...otherwise. Good Luck...find your battery.
