    hacking a bb?

I keep getting broadcast messages about not accepting this person or that person because they're gonna hack ur fone and blah blah blah.
But from wat I know blackberries can't be hacked. So am I right or I'm still in the dark. Has anyone heard of a bb being hacked thru bbm ?

There have been some discussions about this. I would say that nothings impossible. It's always wise to not accept bbm requests from people you don't know.

But personally, I don't think it would harm you.

I believe theres a contest out there (think I saw it on BBRocks) where theres a cash prize (25k or more) for anyone who does hack into a bb. Started last year and is an annual contest...to date no one has won.

I'm with Nate on this one, if you don't recognize them then I wouldn't add them. I don't know that it's possible to "hack" without having them force your device to install some sort of application with a loophole that has been granted 100% allow permissions, and only you can do that.

But once again, like Nate said, nothing is impossible.

That is it: When asked you have to allow all permissions. So it more likely could be hidden in an app than in a person requesting you BBM PIN
