    Chowdarygm,

You will not see your old emails on the blackberry. However, I have found a way to get them there if your brave enough, and its fairly easy. Go into your yahoo account on a desktop and delete all emails that you want on your blackberry, then go to your delete folder and put them all back into your inbox right away. I would try this on one email first so that you can see if it will work for you. I had success on a personal email account other than yahoo or hotmail. As for Gmail, I don't use it so I can't help you there. No worries though, soon enough someone here will have the answer your looking for. Ansd btw, welcom to BBOS!!

Unfortunately the emails that you received before you set up your device account will not be able to be pushed to your phone.

The workaround that joshjamie suggested should work.

And sorry, but I don't use gmail, either, so I can't comment on the delay in notification you are asking about.

There should be no problems doing this. To get comfortable with it, just try it on a pc of junk mail or something like that.
