Thread: BBM Ringtones

Does anyone know how i can setup individual ringtones for my bbm contacts on my Storm? I have looked everywhere and have googled it with no clear answer:Eyecrazy: . Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, and I very well could be, you'd have to create a profile exception for the contact, or something like that.

I dont believe you can set individual ringtones for BBM you can for text but you can only set a ringtone for BBM not individual contacts on BBM. I tried to do this in the past with my wife, as she has a blackjberry and that is how we mainly talk.

You are right! I have many personal tones set up for family/friends and they do not apply to BBM or other messaging apps. You can only personalize for Phone and Text/MMS Messaging, I do not even think email counts under the messing for personalization.

Seeing how RIM makes BBM, you think this would be an option.
