Thread: Downloading on a bb storm

Good day ya'll......okay so I'm a newbie and want to download large files on my blackberry.......I have a storm 5.0.0.464 hybrid (I think lol)......I can't download any file greater than 6mb.......but I can download large files from clipnabber.........I don't knw why but if it has to do with proxy or redirecting........I wud rily appreciated it if someone cud help wit such a site as clipnabber to download general files........d .net hack didn't work for me.......I'm in nigeria on mtn nigeria........and using an unlocked verizon 9530.........ya......opera mini doesn't download too....says no tunnel to open but I can browse wit OM4......OM5 beta downloads but neva finishes...stopping at d very end........I'm frustrated here..........even tried going back to 4.7 to no avail

The crack should work... The operamini 5.2 should work... Both have worked for me on my S1,Tour, and S2! What os base did you use with your hybrid?

Ok bro.......I tried d opera mini beta on official firmware .328........I just downloaded a 12.7mb song from downloads.nl.............so I'm nt even so sure wat is up wit ma bb nw........I wud try again.........d problem wit opera mini is dat it neva saves d finished file.........it reaches for example 6/6mb......den says error downloding file.......thanks a lot......ill troubleshoot a lil more........yeah d base os was .419........thank u

Ok jason......just tried a 37mb file.......opera gave an error even bfore it got to 5mb........dis hppend twice........ill try bolt.........bb browser gave me d same entity too large........ma network is a gsm network......does dat matter?

Bolt to no avail either......is it a setting? I tried d vpn settings wit the .net hack for t-mobile wit me puttin in my networks apn settings still to no avail

I know it's not the same......but......you can always.....download to your comp first.....then transfer the file you want.............that's what I do.
