Pain Producer, how is that DM 5.0 working for you, since this issue I went to 4.7 and not liking it as much as i did 4.6, was thinking about going back to 4.6, do you see any advantage with 5.0?

Finally...loading DM 4.7 instead of 5. I will let you guys know. Cross my fingers
The RIM guy at VZW talked me into uploading 4.7 (said it was great), no issues untill i downloaded .132 today now i have started getting the redirect e-mails and i'm not on BES, so it looks like i'm reinstalling DM tomorrow, most likly going back to 4.6
Still Installing 4.7 DM. I hope this will work.
I am sad to report...Same error message at the same spot. It was almost done and it stopped at "Auto Text Data Version"
I am giving up. Thanks for all your help.
dumb question but...did you took the mem card when upgrading the os?
Memory card has been in the whole time:laugh2:
then that can be causing some files being corrupted, if you want give a try reinstalling the os without the mem card, is a known issue when loading the os, and YES you should remove it....
wondering if you are having reboots without apparent reasong? probably no but just wondering
I dont use my Storm to much for music. I have 1514 songs on it but usually use iTouch. I have a 16 Gig card in it and am using 9 Gig. What should I try?
No reboots with .132 I am loving the software. I was having this problem before I updated my OS. It just started happening last night.
What exactly the error messege says?

This should work.
Open the Desktop Manager
In Desktop Manager, under backup/restore, go to Advanced.
You should see a list of databases in the right box, and an empty box on the left. If you select an item on the right, and then hit the left arrow button in between the boxes, it will back it up, and it will show up on the left.
To avoid having to do that 1 by 1, is highlight about 10 at a time and transfer them over. Eventually you will find the error, but it will be narrowed down to 10 databases, then go through individually with those 10 and find the one with the error. Then hit clear database right underneath the right box.
Now you can go back out to the backup/restore page, and it should work.
