Thread: Help! Can't create or rename folders.

Hey guys - Anyone ever had this problem before? I'm trying to create a folder or rename existing ones to move my icons around but when I click "save" nothing happens. I tried to click "go" on the keyboard, still nothing.

I'm running 122 w/ 3.5.

Hmm i'm not sure about this.... I would PM BBCrackman, he might have a fix for this

You can only rename folders that you've created. Should not be a problem creating folders though, double check the target destination directory.

I can't create or rename - where's the destination directory? What would I be looking for?

Can I create them manually somewhere else?

are you in the home screen clicking the bb key, then add folder?

I've read that pushing the save command several time works, try saving in landscape, and there is always the battery pull that may help. Think its been a known issue since .90

there were several issues with 3.5 running over 122 when we originally tested it...that may be the problem..

in addition when i try it i don't have a go or a save button. just an ADD button.

this may be the glitch between OS's

It worked in landscape.

I dont have a save button either, just an add, 114 to 3.5 straight, no extras. First time I noticed that.

My mistake, its an add button.

No problem, try adding in landscape.
