I have done the Options/Security Options/Security Wipe but the phone still says I have contacts saved to the sim card and is asking if I want to copy them to the device. I am sending this storm back to verizon so I want to be sure it is clean.

Open Contacts, then blackberry key (options), Sim-Card, and now you should be able to delete the single entries...
Thank you very much for the quick answers guys.
And on a separate note, make sure you wipe the return phone number from your sms/mms if you had that activated. I forgot to do that on a phone I gave to a friend and I kept getting random phone calls asking for him.
Have you ever wondered why things intended to make our lives simpler keep getting more complicated to use?
yeah, at least it didn't go to a stranger.... Fortunately for me, the phone went to a concert promoter I know and I get a lot of cool info on local bands this way
