    Question Unlocked 9530 on Rogers Issues

    Hello y'all,

    I'm trying to get my unlocked 9530 working on the Rogers network. I have voice, text messaging and voice mail working, but for some reason, Caller ID doesn't work. It always comes up Unknown Number.

    Any thoughts???

    I've heard you may just need to call Rogers and have them remove name display from the plan, leaving number display.

    What OS do you have?

    Using BBC V10 with .328 radio.

    Not sure. It's a bundled essentials plan. I had an older berry that worked with caller id that I used for a long time. For some reason, the 9530 just doesn't want to show numbers when someone is calling.

    I have the same problem on my 9530 on Rogers as well. I get unknown name and number from Telus and Bell callers but landlines show the number and name. I have never bothered to try and fix it but I night call Rogers and have them remove name display and see if it works

    I don't know if they work like vzw does but you could call and have them remove caller id and call delivery and then put them back on. Some vzw ppl were having this issue and this worked for them.

    I called them and tried to remove name display from my account and they told me I would lose my features bundle. I have had this bundle for a long time and it's a super deal. I think I'm gonna tough it out and leave the name display on my account for a little longer.

    Maybe someone else on rogers can try it out and post a reply.
