Thread: Resonable Price for Used Storm

I just upgraded from the 9530 to the 9550 (actually I had the Droid for 3 days in between, but I started suffering from BB withdrawals). Now I have a perfect Storm, 8GB Memory card and not 1 but 2 Blue Incipio Feather Cases. It's only about 4 months old (my 3rd S1 since release day).

I'm going to put it on Craig's List and eBay I guess. What's the consensus on what it's worth?


Mods - I'm not sure what the rule is here, I think CB wouldn't like this kind of post. I'm just looking for some pricing ideas. Thanks!

Nope, it's not unlocked.

See if you can get it unlocked, it will seem a much nicer option to the buying market and also get you a good whack more.

How much for a case?

I know someone who sold an unlocked 9530 for $185 on ebay recently.

Will do. Hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later. I already had a Nigerian scammer try for it. Don't get any ideas and mess with me :evil:.

That's what it was! She was buying the phone for her boss (Red Flag #1) who is moving to Africa (Seriously...) and will pay $100 extra (That's 40% more) plus $20 shipping.

Is this a craigslist phenomenon? I've not had it on ebay.

I saw a woman sell her Storm for 175 on craigslist. You guys are inspiring me to put mine up.

i sold my 9530 on craigslist for $140. it had scratches and i just wanted to get rid of the phone. i had a lot of scam replies back but i had honest people respond too. it took only a day to sell. just be careful when dealing with craigslist. a guy got put in the hospital last week in the atlanta area trying to buy a car off craigslist and the guy got robbed. i met my craigslist poster inside of a payless so if there was any funny business it would have been caught on tape.

I sold my wife's 9530 on ebay last week for $200. Phone, memory card, original box w/ manuals and CDs, home and car charger, two hard plastic cases ($10 cheapies).

Sold my 9530 unlocked on Ebay almost a month ago for $192 plus shipping with a silicon case plus some plastic case I had along with the original box, software, charger, etc.
