Thread: Deprovisioning of BB Storm

guys, i am using 9500 and i bought it cash from Etisalat in Dubai. I unlocked it using remote unlock by giving only the IMEI.

now i am back in my country and using one of the networks sim card here.

the problem is, i want to avail of the blackberry internet but the network provider said that they have to check if the phone is deprovisioned already.

is it different from the IMEI sim unlocking? is there a way that i can check myself if it is already deprovisioned?

that means they have to check the pin # to make sure its not already registered to another bis account

i have BIS before on this phone so it means its bb services is locked?
are there ways to unlock it?

more or less if it was hooked up with a carrier where you bought it for example on bis service then the pin # is already registered with someone elses bis account, so that has to be checked before they can enable the pin on your bis account.

one account per pin sort of idea.

but if it was new and not used on another carrier i don't know what the issue is.
