Thread: Using the Storm as a webcam

I've search around a little and didn't find any info on how (or if its even possible) to set up the 9530 to be used as a webcam. Anyone know if this is possible and if so how you do it? Thanks!

I think there is a software/application to do that, I can't recall the name right now but if I can find it I will post the link...

I remember reading something a while ago on this, too, but couldn't find it in the previous threads. Thanks for your help!

Appworld has an application that does it, but I forget what it's called. It cost like 40 bucks - I remember looking at it,don't recall the name tho. Sorry.

Thanks! I downloaded the Mobiloa web camera free trial version to test it out. Loaded on the desktop with no problems. Tried installing the phone part of the software through DM and receive a message stating the software is not compatible with my phone. I downloaded the version specifically for the storm. I'm running 5.0.0.328. Anyone else successfully do this?

Have they updated the app to work for 5.0 yet? If you are unsure try emailing the support

Their website states its been updated for 5.0. I'll send them a message to see if I'm doing something wrong or maybe downloaded the wrong version.
