I'm selling my Storm. Will wiping the device and re-installing the official
software clear out all my personal info and my phone number off the phone?
Can I do this since it already has been de-activated?

Yes and yes. just do a security wipe from the device will remove all your info from the phone

Did a security wipe and reloaded the OS without shrinking and all worked fine, however my phone number is still showing on the dial screen, does anyone know how it can be removed?

Dial ##000000 hit send, top line put in all zeros, hit menu key, save and phone will reboot.

If you need unlock code let me know, will help in selling phone.

Thanks Mick, I was on the right track I went to that page but I only deleted my number, didn't think to replace it with zero's. I was thinking of selling it locked since I heard unlock codes are a little pricey.

Mick how do I get an unlock code from you?
