    Memory on MY storm.....

HELP!!! I don't understand something....How can some people be getting 45 to 55 mb of memory after a battery pull or soft reset and I have never been able to get above 35 MAX??? I have the following apps on my phone and do not do anything very stressfull with it:
    Weatherbug
    VZNav
    MeterBerry
    Where
    Slacker
    AP News
    BofA
    TWSS
    App World

My current OS is the 5.0 Hybrid. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Dont use VZNav all that much unless I need to. Have had no probs with weatherbug. Are you saying Weatherbug is a memory hog?

I agree I had noting but problems with Weatherbug slowing down my phone and leaking. I installed BBweather and it has been working great

I boot up at about 48-50mb since using Shrink A OS and running .122 very smooth.

The thing is, people get all crazy about memory numbers. There really is nothing to worry about memory unless you get down to under 10. I've been down to 15 and my phone was working better then a lot of others. People worry to much about memory numbers. Every phone is different.

But to answer your question vic. Have you wiped your phone yet at all? Wiping your phone will start you fresh with max amount of memory.

Thank you so much. Tried it but it didnt like my phone or OS. Oh well, I will keep weatherbug and deal with the drain. Keeping steady around 35 - 40 after some tweeks and deletes. Like I said I will do a wipe on the next OS install...haven't done one in a while so might do some good. Thanks All!!!:afro:
