It seems to be an ongoing issue with Vista. You can download a program named BBSAK. You may have to visit SunMicrosystmes.com and download another program named JRE (Java Runtime Enviroment) Seems that some of the components of this program are missing causing java programs not to function properly.
1st you need to install JRE
Then download and install BlackBerry USB and Modem drivers from blackberry.com
Then install the latest DM
Install BBSAK
and you should be ready to go. If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are all here to help.
BBSAK goes on the computer.
I have a Vistax64 machine and using BBSAK, i have no issue wiping or loading apps on my phone.
I also have the Java runtime installed.
I use BBSAK on Vista x64 as well as Windows 7 x64 with no problems. No extra software needed on either.
can anyone send me a download link I can't seem to find a good one I feel quite stupid tonight lol.
To answer the question as to why I have listed the above additional software is that with some Vista 64bit machines the JRE is not complete which causes issues with BBSAK and CrackUtilities. By reinstalling JRE, USB and Modem Drivers and updating your Desktop Manager it allows all the above programs to operate normally on a Vista and Win 7 machine. These issues are less predominant on the Win 7 machines.

This isn't an issue with vista. jlcmder is a 16 bit application which any 64 bit OS can't run. I had this problem to but I was able to google and find a fixed file. Choice.com is the file you need. Just google 64 bit jlcmder. I would post the file but I'm on my storm
Choice.com
Here is the instructions by Shaffer over at CB

Back in its day JL Comander was the tool! Why not male life a little simpler and jus use Crack Utl or BBSak?
It has worked for me with Windows Vista 64 and Windows 7 64, With or with out "Run As Adminstrator" settings?
