    Extracting a JAD file....error 907 Invalid cod

    Help...
I uploaded a few .jad theme files and I'm having trouble opening these themes.
    I went to Media Player-Explore-Media Card-Loader-then ABC.jad - open...
Then I get the 907 invalid cod error.

I read somewhere that a .jad file could be opened via Media Player and then explore....Guess not..

Anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong to open these .jad files?

    Thanks

They have to be downloaded via your browser. Open your browser paste the link after the http:// and it should open the link

no not a .jad file that must be opened from you're bb browser
for example email yourself the link from you're e-mail click on the link and it should open the bb browser hit go. it wont work dowmloading it on your desktop and putting it in dm.
find the links again and either type them in the browser or e-mail the link to yourself when its in the browser on you're bberry it should ask you to download then say sucessfully installed and will most likly end up in you're download or app folder.

now if it was the axl or cod file for the app then they would be downloaded via desktop but for a jad must be downloaded from the storm browser.

yea unfortunatly i dont even think you can find the entire link in what you put on your desktop. It most likly will only give you the file name and not the site it originated from . So to answer you're question, yes everything you put on the desktop is useless. but if you can remember what site you got them from you can atleast see the name on what you downloaded and it should make you're search a little easier

Ha! have fun finding them all. I am a big believer in pushing the limits of the storm, love having lots of apps. Waiting for it to start smoking
