If you're using this theme on S2 you will be getting the white bars until he updates the theme to work on OS 5.0 however you can follow the instructions bellow and it will help you for now.

1. Change Wallpaper to something other than original wallpaper that came with custom theme.

2. App Screen > Blackberry button

3. Options > Change layout to today > exit > save

4. Blackberry button > Options > Change layout back to 2 row > Exit > Save

5. Rotate to landscape mode.


Using themes not capable to OS 5.0 every time you change the wallpaper you need to fix it. just change the layout of the home screen to "today", save go to home screen and change it back to "2 rows" (Start from #2 on the instructions above).


What I did on my phone was I used the option available on Quick launch (LOCK TILT) and I have no more landscape mode on my home screen, that way I can change wallpapers anytime I want to :-D

I've been playing around with the new theme builder for the last couple of days and I have a new respect for those of you that build such fantastic and awesome themes. All I have to say, and spinning off of a quote from Whimpy, is that "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a theme today."

Again, I am impressed Miles and when your Zen Hybrid theme has been updated, you will find some dead presidents in your pocket from me.

I am back on the "RED" theme and I forgot how nice this theme is. I was one of 6 who donated and I hope more of you do. I have the 9550 Storm 2 and I get two "WIFI" icons when in the applications page. I wanted you to know. Pic below.

Hey SoCalMiles are you going to update it to the 5.0 OS? I use "StopTilt" so I don't shift into landscape and get the white bars but I think it would be nice if it was updated. your call.

I use this theme and its hands down the best theme out there.. however.. when i upgraded to 5.0.0.428 i get a complete whitebackground.. kinda like the white bars, but now its all over the screen and happens in the full portrait menu as well.. ive tried uninstalls and the "trick" to fix the white bar issue no longer works... I get the same issue with minimal bold and elle themes, but natemx pro v4 theme is working great...

anyone else have an issue with 428 and this theme??

downloaded the "for the people" one. "awesome!" just one problem, landscape mode glitch. any patches ( i really hope so)? running 5.0 os

I love this theme, but when i switch to landscape the sides are all messed up. Any updates for the 5.0 OS or any hints?

I have tried lots of different themes and this is by FAR the one I like best.
I am happily going to donate right now.

That being said... My two cents and others may disagree... I would LOVE if the buttons that fade in and out could be user defined.

I don't use the BB Browser because it sucks. I use Opera Mini.

If I needed to use "Options" I would get it from the home screen... it's not like I use it so often that I need one of the five available buttons devoted to it. The calendar would make a lot more sense there... especially if it works with a hidden Today.

Otherwise this is completely and totally awesome. Love the background, the colors, the layout and the fonts especially.

The Theme name is misleading, i just dloaded and its not 5.0 Compatible. it seems to be a gr8t theme, i like the idea but it needs updating.
