Thread: All themes are slow ???

I love the blazing speed of .114 on my storm but any theme that I add slows it back to a crawl. Is it me or are all themes just slower than the default Zen?

Are you giving the theme time to "warm up" to the OS. Mine are generally sluggish at first. I also do a batt pull after switching themes. Freshens things up.

i've had B's theme on for a day and after a couple pulls it's running smoother and quicker

when at the homescreen hit the bb button, rotate phone. and do a couple other things that will load images and after it gets all the images stored in its ram it will be a little better but just wait like an hour at most and you'll be good

I concur with everyone else... and i just posted an update to my theme's thread... A Batt pull is a must with alot of these new themes coming out... the animations and new icons like to eat up your mem upon initial install. swap to the theme u want and do a pull, and this will usually clear up.

I dont think any theme that I have tried has as little memory leak as the default zen theme. But i still use them anyways....
