Thread: 95xx 2 new themes!!!

Here they are, the last 2 themes I made!!!
OTA links will be posted as soon as possible im workin with BBOS to host them. And yes they're FREE !!! I know i aint gonna pay $7-10 for sumthing i might not use for more than a week!

UPDATE!!! PLEASE DO A BATTERY PULL AFTER INSTALL AND CHANGING TO THESE THEMES. It seems that initial install of any theme with animation will cause initial lag. Hopefully this helps that issue. Thanx for the feed back and please feel free to let me know of any other issues!!
First off, Im really bad at naming things so i just stuck to simple names for what they are. The screenshots are taken from the simulator so they look a lil blurry(sorry). Both themes use a "hidden" feature. Home screen wallpaper is customizable! the App menus have no "grid" so all 3rd party app icons look seemless with the rest!

Blue Side Slide: This theme has a hidden dock that slides from left to right and has your first 4 apps. To activate just "touch" the lil BB logo at the bottom left. Touching anywhere else will deactivate the dock sliding it back to the left. Clicking anywhere on the screen above the dock will activate the Apps Menu. Clicking any icon in the dock will also hide it again so that its hidden when you return to the home screen.

New Blue: This one I went and changed all the icons (that can be) And made a lil change to the hidden idea!!! The rather small BB logo bottom center is the activation "button". touching or clicking this will activate and deactivate the "hidden icons". It also uses the first 4 apps. I also added a "quake" to the icons when focused, and the Text bar. Clicking anywhere on the screen aside of the Logo and the icons will open the APP Menu. Added today feature...with 3 lines, for those who like to quick read in-comming msgs or reminders.

hows the memory, and battery with it installed?

Both are under 1mb in size so memory wise they seem to run great, but im still determining battery with the 2nd theme. I had the 114H v1 installed last week and my batt was dyin real quick. Im on v2 now and batt seems to be holding ALOT better. So far seems to be running great!... hope you like, let me know if you notice anything!

i put both on. i'm running the second one.

i like how the icons scatter out and the preview of the message at the top when you touch the message icon.

the device is a little laggy, but it has only been on it for five minutes. i will go through it more tomorrow and let you know.

I downloaded both and presently have the blus slide glow and absolutley love it, however the only downfall i'm having is memory leak the lowest i've seen it today was at 2 and its never been below 21.

i'll try the other one tomorrow and provide feedback.

have you done a batt pull since u installed it? i found that with these themes its a must. the amination tends to pull alot of mem on install but a patt pull clears it up and they run great afterwards!

I figured that out too... after i already finished it... i made an update i jus havent gotten around to gettin it hosted yet. on my todo list !!

I'm not crazy about the background... if I change the background will it work in both portrait and landscape mode?

The back ground will only change for your home screen. Unfortunately there is no way yet to make it customizable by the user for any other background

Thanks, very nice, i am using New Blue right now, it does as all themes drain the memory a little, i had the appleberry glass and tried a couple others, i would of hoped with the plazmic official coming out that was something that could of been corrected.
All we can hope for is more app memory
But anyway i like it alot

Unfortunately aswell it seems all themes will eat memory... some more than others... i tried to keep the size down as much as possible, but the animations will do that anyways. I run an avg of about 38m free with any of my themes, but im not a heavy app user.

What are you're thoughts on removing the Zen theme, do you think that would help any?

Removing other themes shouldnt affect your mem. Memory is used by OPEN apps! The actual theme files (to my knowledge) are store in device memory. Only the running theme uses your "available app memory".
