Sound advice Andrew and I am sure it came from experience

On that note let me just saw to all the theme builders whether you offer them for free, paid, or donation. I would never in a million years do what you guys and gals do :You_Rock_Emoticon: I know how long and painstaking it is to create a theme, and I also know you can't please everyone.

Thanks for making our phones unique and fun to look at and use :You_Rock_Emoticon::You_Rock_Emoticon:

I agree, therefore I am updating the theme to a hidden today with 8 user defined icons on the homescreen and 8 user defined icons without the hidden today. The updates will be free to anyone who purchased already.

    LOL.
I was digging the original version, really liked what you did there very creative indeed. But yes many do like their hidden today and being able to customize their icon location. This will only make this theme that much better.

I got this theme and love it!!! I have a couple questions:
    1. Should the background image have the color banding?
    2. When you look closely at icons, there are transparent boxes between row 1 and 2. Can those be removed? Image 1.
    3. When I exit profiles and a couple other menus, you can see the transparent screen still there and it remains until I click on something else. Image 2.

Issue 1: The color banding is a problem inherent in the Storm, some wallpapers will bring it out more than others. I love this wallpaper so I deal with it, but others have switched wallpapers to get rid of it.

Issue 2: I checked and yes I believe that the next update will fix the boxes between the icons.

Issue 3: For the lie of me I don't know what that is. LOL, I have never seen that before in a theme. I am trying to duplicate it on my phone I will get back to you on this one.

Thank you so much. I have had the same issues happen with another theme and to improve color banding, the theme maker exported the wallpaper as png or something similar. It also decreased on the size of file. I am going to search and find the exact quote on what he did as I am clueless with theme making. As far as transitions, it also may be related to the theme size. I will do a little more research for ya. Thank you so much for such a great theme and for your support.

Ok. Here is the quote from KD:

It will look like it has less colors than the typical PNG-24, but it actually renders ALOT better on the Storm than as a PNG-8 not to mention cut your theme file size down alot.

    hope that helps
    I hope this helps ya.

Thanks, I have exported as that but I found a way to get rid of the color banding. Simply changing to png-8 was not the answer and I had resolved myself to that but by playing around with the settings I figured it out.

If anyone else has a color banding problem using Photoshop here is the setting I used. Export as web file, set to png-8, but it also worked in png-24, and change from diffusion to pattern. Wala, problem solved.

Great tip P3. I have been playing around in the export as web & devices lately too. I haven't tried using the pattern dither though. Thanks for the tip.

As far as the png8 vs png24, I would still stick with the 8. The smaller the file size, the less lag you will get on your phone.
