Thread: 95xx BlackBerry Pro v3 by Natemz

Have to agree with the majority on this theme, it is simply the cleanest and most organized theme to date. Very professional, with a balanced layout and everything you need in a quick touch.

Will be giving this a go to see how bad the memory leak is (I run allot of apps) as I know from first hand experience that "ALL" themes leak memory. Some are not as bad as others and are tolerable. Might even dump a few apps just to keep it.

Question...

Can you see a difference in memory leak by the color of the theme? Sounds nutty, I know...but I had the blue since last night...( Absolutely LOVE the theme BTW)...and the memory was not so hot...in 1 hour lost 7 MB and next hour lost 6MB more, and 4 MB the 3rd hour. Downloaded the RED and deleted the BLUE, and in 1st hour only lost 1MB...Any merit to this or coincidence?

Does the color RED hold it's memory better than the color BLUE?? :chairshot:

Interesting anyway....we shall see how this pans out.

I don't think so. I'm sure you know this from experience but give the theme a chance to settle in a bit. Did you perform a battery pull after installing theme. I have installed countless themes and generally I see a big drain on memory immediately but over the next 24-48 hours things go back to normal. Just my two cents.

My wife is mad you didn't make a purple one though:disappointed: ,but she'll get over it, besides she still likes ur purple leather theme.

Oh Yea...did all the right stuff. Curiousity has taken over here...

with RED in 3 hrs...believe this or not...I speak "truthiness"..I actually GAINED 2.4 MB....I'm like NO way this is the color...so I reloaded BLUE, and deleted RED.
I did a reset...and in 1 hr, I lost 6MB. Go figure...

Now to be fair I musta got an odd memory bump because with RED, in 1 hr lost 1MB...in 2 hr lost 7MB...then 1 hr later GAINED 11MB.:261::eek2::261:



I got meterberry to figure this...ain't makin this up!! :banana::dunno::banana:

I think this is one of the BEST themes out there...Crystal is right there too.

So don't get me wrong...I really like this theme!!

let me know if it doesn't clear up Orio. I'm curious to see if it does. See I created the Red version first. Then re-saved it as blue and changed all the elements. I hope thats not the case. But if it is I intend to fix it somehow.

I'm playing with other colors...gonna try ORANGE...as I'm an Orioles fan..shoulda tried it first. If the memory issue reacts the same as BLUE I will PM you with my results...Good with you?

One thought I had is perhaps you can add an OCD version. Instead of having one slot on the top for WB have two slots, one for WB and one for meterberry.
