Thread: The perfect theme

I have to admit, I'm a theme junkie
And in my quest for the perfect theme (and I have tried a lot of them) I have found only two, to this date, that measure up to the quality, functionality and aesthetics that I want.
I realize that themes are a personal thing and others have their favorites, and by no means am I intending to insult any other theme developers, they are all great and put in a lot of work for very little return (some actually nothing), but these two are my favorites:


1. AppleBerry 2.0 by Andrew Hastings
2. Clear Blu by Brandon Boyer

Please keep in mind that I have a Storm 2 (9550) on 5.0 OS.

I would be interested in hearing what your favorites are and maybe there are some I haven't tried yet.

AMENDMENT: I just changed my No. 2 choice for the perfect theme, Brandon recently came out with his new theme and it is an absolutely winner in my mind. Wait until you see what he is coming out with next.

I KNOW you are a theme junkie Gordie...and your opinion is most qualified..

..I, on the other hand, also a theme junkie really like the new Earl Gray "revisited", as I use the new BerryWeather 2.0 wallpaper function,and this theme has a hotspot for opening BerryWeather app on homescreen...There is a Harley Davidson version of this theme on now...Check it out.

Your favorites are excellent themes also Gordie !!

I just would like it to be 5.0 compatible.

I emailed A.H. about the issues before and he was most honest with me when he said that it would take entirely to much time to fix the entire theme pack.
He had not made up his mind as to when he might attempt to take this task on.

AppleBerry 2.0 is 5.0 compatible, I use it.
You might be thinking of AppleBerry Dark, which I know he will be working on soon.

Now you got me looking forward to his rework of this great theme.

I have been using Miro2 on my S1 for a while now.Never a problem with updating
operating systems,very little memory useage,and very smooth transitions.
My favorite by far

I too am a theme jumkie, untill I found Miro2. I keep trying others and always go back. To me it is the most useful theme out there,

I have one that d1000 modified for me, his tree of hope theme that I always go back to (still my favourite theme by far). I also use dragon ink 1.5 that is right up there as well.

Zen Hybrid 5.0 - Theme by SoCalMiles is by FAR my favorite.

I agree with you, all my favorite themes are done by the one and only Natemz. I am not using my top favorite- Pro V4 (I'm using my second-Impakt by JP Designs) I always go back to Nate's though.

I happen to agree. I've tried quite a few themes that looked good, but Miro2, by far, is the most functional, yet less memory intensive theme out there. Then again, I still have the 9530.

For the last week i've been using clockworks and I have to say, I'm impressed!! I too am still on the 9530 so I have to watch the memory. For an animated theme there is not to nothing for memory drain! The graphics are great as well as the theme setup. I highly recommend it
