My memory has ranged between 41mb and 35mb. Which are pretty good. If I just run the zen theme I usually stay between 45 and 40.

Just posting my observation; although, most say they love the today's font. I on the other hand, have difficulty in reading the text with the shadow effect. Perhaps if the text were bold and pure white,or a tad larger it would enhance the today homepage. Just my .02..The hidden dock is also a great idea.

I'm finding more and more that I agree with this statement. As much as I like the font, it's too hard for me to read my today items. I've noticed on other themes that use bold white fonts that it is very easy to ready today items.

Other than that I'm lovin' the clean look of the dark red theme.

The people have spoken. Dark Red v3.3 is now posted in the OP and has a bold white font for the today area. I will try to post picks of all the versions tonight.

Thank you all for the feedback!

P.S. - Hidden dock option is in the works.

For sure, always up for a cold one! I manage a 70 person call center for an internet company, so customer service is kinda ingrained in my thought process.

Getting ready to dl your theme and am very excited about it, I seem to trust in Bryan's opinions (as well as others in this thread) and this just sounds like a no-brainer. I too am OCD, went with Crystal Clear for just that reason. May I ask, is keeping with the default icons a big plus, in your opinion, when dealing with memory loss? I really dig all the inventive icons others have come up with in past themes, but it just seems hard to find that without substantial mem loss. I know it's a default theme, but out of all my themes I have run for any length of time, the Precision Zen default has always been the leader in stable memory for me personally. With all that said, if you're reading this Bryan, I still have less OCD issues over mem leaks due to your blog - Professor BM's Tips & Tricks - I swear! But it's an issue nevertheless.:eek5:
Okay so I'll shut up now but not without saying Thank You to ya, Rellims. The hard work and obvious passion you have for this, and all for the small small price of FREE, certainly puts you in a class all by yourself (well actually you share the room with some others, but I won't make this list cuz even though it's small, I don't want to leave smeone off by mistake). And then to find out you MANAGE a CALL CENTER on top of it all!?!? My gal was VP of Kite Broadband for 14 years, staffing up to 250 reps at one point, and I told her about you, she was simply amazed. So some of us understand, even more than everyone else, just what you meant concerning your job as well.
Thanks again Stud, I'm off to dl now.......

Sorry for the long post, but I believe the guy deserves MY time too!

The default theme (zen) uses the least amount of memory because it does not require a program called Plazmic (which is what theme developers use to make themes). The default theme uses almost no memory and therefore will not affect this issue. I have yet to find a theme that does not drain your memory a little. But what's the point of having the memory and not using for cool stuff like themes. So yes Professor Brian is correct don't stress about memory unless you are below 10mb

That makes perfect sense about the Plazmic issue, thank you. Is plazmic the only theme building program, or just the most popular? And also, I just tried to download the v3 of Dark Red and it goes to a whitescreen on my phone, any other way to do this? I actually wanted the v3.3 w/ bold white letters but the address/link is cut in half on my screen, I have to hit "...more" to get the whole thing and therefore can not highlight it. Again, any way to fix this?
