Thread: 95xx Blue Goo v2 Final - Released!!

Ok so many of you saw the last theme i was working on but never released... well between (not)finding an OTA host, and the great feedback i got on "Blue Goo", i decided to jus use the changes/updates and make a version 2 !

UPDATE...(April 28 2009) Finally fixed..... There is still some slight colorbanding when returning to the homescreen, but it will vanish.(i tried everything, but its a vast improvement to the original) THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING PATIENT, Hope you enjoy!

Updates/ Changes include:
Same homescreen as Blue Goo, with...
-New Fonts all the way around
-Skinned a few cursors/ highlights
-New backgounds
-New landscape lockscreen banner (matches homescreen)
-New "phone" icons
-A few new OR modified Apps Icons
-New Profiles icons
-New/modified unread msg indicators
-New Volume meter (Call screen)
-Skinned dialog buttons
-"Blue" hourglass!

-and more (cant think of everything)

Basics for those that havent used v1:
This theme has 7 app slots on the home screen:
-Slot0 (first app) must be weatherbug, if you want weather bug in the top corner. The space for this icon is rather limited since weatherbug icons are small. You can however use this space for any app, its up to you and how well it looks with that app's icons.
-Left slide: is slots 2,3
-Right slide: (from center to top right) slots 4,5,6,7
- The BB logos are your activations for the hidden dock. One hides it the other shows it. each time you activate it, that icon will disappear and show the opposite icon.
-activating the BBmenu (clicking anywhere on the main background) or any icon on the dock will also close it.

Ok so, aswell as bein a computer nerd makin themes, imma Xbox gamer... and well i got carried away tnight playin nazi zombies.. (level 42 on the new map) So i didnt get to the pix, but ill have em up tmorrow after work.

And Neo,ill most likely need a host as i havent heard back from Scooter in almost a week!

Is it ready for OTA? Also, how memory-intensive is it...with all of Neo's compliments before, I've got to believe it's a pretty memory-skinny theme!

Beautiful theme! Unfortunately I need more "screen space for icons" on my home page...which leads to my question: does it take memory to have unused themes on your Storm and if so, how do you go about deleting an unused theme?

to delete, options/advanced options/ applications/highlight theme/ bb key/ delete

Was thinking I could only fit 6 icons on the home screen...need 8...now I realize I missed 2 so I'm going to play w. it for a while and see if I can get used to it. It really is a spectacular theme!

it has 7 total, counting the one on the top left. click the screen anywhere and all the rest come up

Thanx... This theme actually has 7 avail slots on the home screen, but its designed for slot 0 (or the first app) to be weatherbug... the size of the area is not large enough for most app icons.

my first version was great on mem because of the size... this one is significantly larger because i skined quite a few things that i didnt in the first. I doubt it should be that hard on mem, but only time will tell as i have not extensively tested it. Im actually still running my "beta", which has a few bugs, that i fixed in the OTA release Neo put up.

Yes! Let's see this go live.. I love the og would like to see an update!
