Thread: 95xx Blue Goo v2 Final - Released!!

LOVE this theme. LOVE the look, the layout, the sliding dock, and the icons rock! My only negative is only having two lines on the today list (hope thats not just mine) and the blue font on the Application List page is kinda hard to read (Good thing your icons rock and are self explanatory for the most part) Its just hard picking the right email icon sometimes when I have two different Yahoo ones and three others with the same envelope icon...lol. BUT I still love this theme! Thanks for your hard work Drukan!

I do agree with the color findings sandman, I found that the other color was a bit easier on the eyes. Still an outstanding accomplishment by you Drukan!

Appreciate the feed back guys... I was goin for that "all blue" look... but i realized after running it my self for a day, the same thing.. but lucky for me i made the icons... so i know what they are...heh.

Sandman, you make a great point... I myself only use 2 emails, one BB and one yahoo, so i never had that issue(and these themes were originally FOR me), but im glad u brought it up, if i continue to make themes ill try to keep in mind that other may have alot more emails than me.
As far as the today text... i only put 2 lines, because of the space... i didnt want it to look sloppy overlapping the docks if you had multiple msgs or dates popping up. I use it merely as a quik view for incoming txt msgs.

Thanx again for your input though... ill see what we can do in the future to accomodate my fans! heh

I have to say again this is an awesome theme. Love your originality! I can see your point with having more than 2 lines. I can see where that could look sloppy, and to tell the truth I've started getting used to just the two lines. Thanks again for your hard work on a GREAT theme!:You_Rock_Emoticon:

I, like everyone else on this thread, love this theme. This is my first custom theme since I got my Storm, and am very impressed. I have noticed an issue. On the phone, when you press the Mute button, you cannot Unmute unless you use the menu button and select it from the list. I can mute, just can't reverse it. I'm a heavy mute user since I use my BB for all my corporate conference calls.

Honestly i wouldnt know if this issue was there as i never use mute... i think i hit it a few times on accident before talk lock... but ive always been able to click it again.
I also noticed your still on .75? Have you thought about tryin out BBC's Hybrid V4 its a HUGE step forward and u may find a new OS fixes that and more ! :fing02:

I'm 5 weeks into Blackberry ownership...coming off 6 years of WM. I'm taking baby steps so far. I've seen the Hybrids, but haven't reached the point of being ready to take the plunge.

One word big meaning...EPIC! I love this theme! Well done Drukan. Thank you.

The dial pay is a plazmic bug. No fix as of yet from what I have heard and read.

Btw the mute? button issue is a plazmic bug in all the themes. You can mute with the button on the screen. Just touch the unmute button on the top right of the Storm.

Drukan, I just installed this theme yesterday. I think it looks awesome! It truely is a thing of beauty. Keep up the good work! And thank you very much!

BTW, I agree with sandman and Neo on the color issues. I was wondering if I could use a different wallpaper? Maybe that would make a difference.

BG how is it on your memory? Notice much of a leak?

I noticed my free app memory has been lower than when I was using the 3D Storm Today, but it's stable. That's the important thing.

When I think of a "memory leak" I tend to think of memory constantly declining, or even fluctuating quite a bit as memory is reclaimed by the OS; whereas any application should "use" memory, making free application memory a smaller number.

Hey there jlevy when I was using this on BBC's v4 I didn't notice much memory leak. Since being on v5 I have noticed more of a leak, BUT I'm not sure it's from this theme. Just prior to v5 I also updated Facebook to 1.5 and updated Meterberry to the latest (at least I think that was just before v5 might have been just after).

I have not tested whether the increase in memory leak is from either of those yet. That said even with the increase leaking I stay above 25 MB and recover to around 34 MB with use. I start with around 47-48 MB.

i am using this one, and haven't noticed a big difference. I will run down to the 20's but it takes five days or more.

the font size is set to the theme... and because most the fonts are custom fonts, the sizes cant be changed. You can change your font settings for some though under Options/screen and Keyboard/ font size.... but this will only affect non custom fonts such ass sms/mms txt, calendar txt, contact list... if these are what your lookin to change then your good to go.

You can change your "homescreen" wallpaper to anything you want. Just load the pic to your phone ( a 360x480 pic) find the pic, hit BB button and click on SET AS HOMESCREEN BACKGROUND....

All other backgrounds though are set by theme and cannot be changed by the user. ( hoping this may be updated ONE DAY)

Great theme-huge memory hog! Needs more today lines with shorter carat.png. ALSO AGREE ON THE DARK BLUE FONT. VERY HARD TO READ FROM A DISTANCE AND ESPECIALLY IN QUICK LAUNCH. I WAS USING THE VERY SMALL FILE BLACKBERRY PRO V2 BLUE THEME WHICH IS NOT AS NICE BUT RUNS GOOD MEMORY AROUND 38 DOWN TO 21. YOUR THEME RUNS ME 31 TO 13.
