Does a theme slow down the phone's crispness or take up Ram?
Does a theme slow down the phone's crispness or take up Ram?
Thanks,
Will give them a try!!!
The Caligraphy, by Philster9 is a little heavy, but I just like the look.
I like the one in my signature. Its Free!
UPDATE:
Verizon Storm 2, Until 4/29 went to "INCREDIBLE"
Verizon Tour (Wife's)
OS: 9550--5.0.0.607/643 (OOAK w/all the fixes)
OS: 9630--5.0.0.643
It is cool but slowed down system for me.
I really like Blue 2 redberry. Fonts wont change on that one though.
Off to search for some more light ones if anyone has any suggestions.
It seems most important for me that the theme not slow down the phone
Now keep in mind, that it take a bit for a new theme to settle in to the phone. I've had ones that took 4-6 hours to smooth out.
I will give it a shot and thought so as well.
Thanks
Here is a theme by Drukan and it doesnt slow down you devices. You can download Blue Goo HERE

I've been really liking a theme that Rellims developed which is also light and does not negatively impact battery or memory. http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/s...g-today-2.html

The biggest thing you need to worry about is memory leaks. some of them HAVE HUGE memory leaks where your memory will drain till you have to reboot. BBCrackman's OS V5.1 manages memory the best in my opinion. with some other OS's if you go below 20 it begins to get extremely sluggish and you have to reboot.
With V5.1 you can get down to 10 or below then you would have to reboot.
Alot of people like the theme VISTA COMPLETE and it has the most features and coolest effects (double hidden sliding dock) but it leaks memory like crazy. It will leak all the way down in a few hours.
I have made a couple of low memory themes...available free at BlackBerry Storm Themes
All OTA
Why buy a Blackberry if your not going to tinker with it???
