Thread: 95xx Crystal Clear theme...A+

Hey all I thought I would share this theme not sure if Brandon the theme developer posts over here or not. Just downloaded and installed the Dark/Today/Weather version, and it is outstanding. Super small file of 6??kb (don't remember the exact size), and lighting fast! When you click on an icon it reflects on the dock. Overall great theme and very clean. He has some free ones up on the site, but the Dark version I am using was $4.00 and I just donated to get it early before he puts it up on the store. But for $4.00 you can't go wrong.

Be neat if the Applications,Messaging, and Media words on top brought down a drop down menu from them. Now that would be for me!

Does anyone know if running an "aftermarket" theme like Crystal will reduce memory use? I currently use the "stock" Storm theme and don't have any others installed...just trying to figure out if using an aftermarket would free up some memory.

I use this same theme...and I consider myself quite the expert on acquiring,buying,loading, and deleting themes that were supposed to have promise. I have been impressed with only a few. This is a "FIVE STAR" theme, and there's a bonus...NO MEMORY DRAIN...none, at least not on my storm.

I even asked Brandon for a minor customization, and he did it, and sent it in less than 10 minutes !!
I donated $5.00...then donated another $5.00 for the quick customization.

This is a TOP SHELF theme...really.

I agree 100% my memory is stable and he customized one for me as well. I asked for meterberry in the top right corner along with weather. Now all my OCD's are in front of me all the time.

Blue Goo is another theme that has virtually no drain...I have run my Storm for three days without a battery pull. The aesthetics are amazing too.

I really love this theme but it is a memory killer, but it is so awesome.

I wonder if this is what's been draining my memory...are you noticing it leaking worse as the day passes?

Wow that is a bummer this is the only theme I have tried that doesn't drain my memory. I don't fall below 35 unless my phone sits idle for an hour or more. Even then I just pick it and use it and my memory jumps back above 35 in under a minute. Since installing this theme I have deleted all the rest.

I agree with bmtenney...My memory is very stable with this theme. I also never drop below 35...this is the only theme I keep on my storm,as others, that do the same, really drain my memory. This theme is the only one, (Vibe didn't give me much memory loss either), that I really don't notice any loss, that I would attribute to the theme. Good Luck...

That's exactly the problem with girly theme.... We have hello kitty, brand name themes and flowery themes ... We need a simple semi girly theme minus all the flowers and cartoons n stuff

I am waiting for the Sponge Bob version. Until then I am holding out.
