Thread: 95xx Vista Complete Theme

Hi All,
I have received several requests as to where i got the theme i put up on a post to show color banding. So i thought i would make a post for it. It is very good on memory (for a theme) and runs exceptionally well. You can change the home screen picture to whatever you want and has almost every app you would use on a daily basis on the home screen via 2 hidden docks. All the features in the "start section" direst you to that feature and just highlighting the calendar, messages or SMS/MMS will show 5 today lines above that section.

I promised myself that I would never pay for a theme... I thinking I might cave and pick this up.

Yeah this theme took a little bit to grow on me but after a couple of days I really grew to like all the options on the font page. It runs slower and has a more substantial leak then some of the other themes but I do really like it.

This theme is EXTREMELY NICE and has TONS of features and cool effects (double hidden sliding dock) but I must warn you... it has a HUGE memory leak. Runing with no other apps, your memory will leak all the way down till you have to reboot! So if you don't mind rebooting twice or three times a day or more with heavy usage. I really don't recommend it.

I have asked KD about the leak but he never responds. I asked him about the waller paper when in lock mode in portrait and landscape mode and he blatantly lied to me and he said he could not change it. He seems to get your money then not address the real problems. Another good example. The font is WHITE in Vista Complete. When you buy it it says he "fixed" the white font on WHITE backgrounds on menu's by changing it to Gray. But when you buy it, the font is still WHITE. So you cannot read the menu's with 3rd party apps that have white background. IE Myspace, AIM, etc. And i asked him about it. He said he decided to go back to white and people will just have to deal without reading the MENU. i was like WTF. then on top of that, he sells this theme and doesn't bother to warn people of this issue. It still says the issue has been corrected and font is now gray.


Personally I am looking a theme that won't leak that much memory so i don't have to reboot several times a day.

I do highly recommend E Cruz's themes. If you like cool effects, he is re-releasing 2 new versions of a HTC Theme. It has a small leak due to annimation and hidden docks, but my memory never goes below 20 megs (while also having 4-5 other apps running at the same time, Opera Browser, Myspace, Gmail, Google maps.)

And with BBCrackman's new OS V5.1, it recovers memory extremely fast and my memory will boost back up to as much as 40 if i close everything and clean the memory (with out rebooting)

And all his themes are FREE! He asks you to donate if you wish, or not. But he actually responds to problems and issues to his theme and tries to fix them. thats why he is constantly re-releasing and completely re-doing his themes FOR FREE.

Sorry you werent satisfied, x, alot of those fixes with the text you were reading were in proccess during the major update phase, and the majority of the users said to leave the font the way it is now.

And I dont lie when it comes to my themes. As simple as that.

I can say that when I was having issues with KD's Vista complete theme he answered every question I had, pretty quickly considering how many people were contacting him IMO. The last update for this theme did solve a lot of the little issues that were still floating around.

KD, I purchased your HTC, Vista Complete and got the Curve and love them all!!! Welcome to BBOS

Heh, I pretty much have no life for about a week during the final testing and release of any of my themes, but its worth it for you guys!

I can only imagine KD lol. I tried Plazmic for about an hour and almost threw my PC through the wall. :12:

I appreciate all you theme developers do to make are storm's look sweet.

Hahahaha, you might of ACTUALLY threw it out if you tried Composer...:P

Ha ha, it's funny you say that....I tried making a theme ONCE and it was enough!!! My head was bigger than my room that day :lmao:

I bought this theme last wednesday a day after I bought the crystal clear theme in dark with the hidden today/dock - weather and meter. I liked the crystal clear but saw the Vista complete on a youtube video and really liked it.

Now that I have it on my storm I have deleted every other theme other than the factory Zen. Today I downloaded the new .148 OS so I'm watching memory but the BBCrackman's .132 v5.1 the memory and battery was great. So it goes to show it's the individual storm so I'm sorry somebody bashed this theme but for some of us it works great.

So far today my memory started at 50 and has hovered in the low 30's while sitting. If I go to ESPN mobile just for a few I'm back in the mid 40's. So memory appears to be ok for now but if not I'll go back to v5.1. I do use meterberry with it set to free up memory every hour when idle and to clear the log and reset every morning. But it's worth it to me.


The layout of this theme is what really got me hooked. A windows icon that opens so many important and often used functions in one spot and the side bar with 10 of my next favorite links, perfect but I love how you can close both and have almost the entire wallpaper showing, hell that's why I grabbed a screen capture for my avatar. I have 25 wallpapers loaded in my wallpaper shuffle app set for 1 min so there is always a different wallpaper during the day. I know that app is part of where my memory gets down along with battery life.

Hope this helps anyone considering this theme.

Kudos.... Thats why i made the thread, sure it uses some memory but any of the good ones do. Never enough to go too low you cant use it, just have to monitor a little which i do since i use alot of apps.
But yes it is my favorite. I hate a theme that if you want the today section to work you have to keep that folder in a certain point (I like ones i use the most available with VistaComplets you dont have to they are right there. Good for you glad you like it too. Other than this one AppleberryGlass is the only other one I like

FYI... There is a 151 update available from the store where you purchased and it works fine now

i really hope i do not come off wrong in any way.. ely is a gre redesigner.. but had KD not made the originals would Ely have anything to remake and for free.. which i have to again respect on E's part
but e's approach is unruly to creators and originators such as KD on HTC, this theme and a few others.. and to be on places like CB and hear CB look what e has brought us.. how about look what E has remade of KD's again.. i feel that KD has gotten ripped on the fact that his ideas came first.. he is a talented person and i know ely is also.. but give credit where its due if ur gunna rip some1's work..

I befriended ely a while ago and would never disrespect him in any way.. the man is a walking svg chart.. one of the smartest i have leared from and have prayed that he would have shared info but another who will not help out any 1 in the game as they are.. buttt nor here nor there..

i thkink KD has a right to make for paid themes and this is a copout to try and promote for E's work on OS... again.. i know e ( or used to ) but i am nowhere on his or kd's level of genius..

as KD said it is unfortunate that he could not satisfy your needs but sounds like u hit this pretty hard like its garbage.. please be courteous with replies theme makers take tons of time to make these themes and we all understand that not every one will be completely taken away by the theme as others will...

sorry for the rant but i feel bad for KD in the aspect of this plea for promoting E on a thread made of KD's theme.. just wrong in my eyes..
