Well, when a site gets bigger, it naturally wants to maximize profit by implementing rules and restrictions designed to meet that end.

But seriously I have been running this theme now for two days and it's straight awesome. Super fast, no lag or memory leak. Looks great with BW. And with all the cool options and styles available this is one of the better themes I have used

I know this is a BB board but I would love to hear what you have to say about the eris. How would you rate it against the Storm?

Is there a version that only shows the 5 icons at the bottom of the home screen and not the ones in the middle? That's how it shows on the images, but I can't seem to get it that way.

Please check out the image "hidden feature" on the OP. It will show you how to hide/show the 9icons dock in the middle.

Basically, you just tap the top of the screen.

Your new revised policy sounds fair enough. But I doubt that CB would let it fly because, for example, a large number of theme developers would stop selling themes on Mobihand and CB Store and use PayPal instead. Thus, CB would not profit.

For instance, when I first got my Storm, I wanted another theme and tried browsing them via CB Store and Mobihand. But the feed back, screen shots, etc. were not as informative or personal as the forum comments. So, I stopped using the store altogether and sought out themes directly from the forums.

If CB allows app/theme developers to link to outside websites, then they get nothing but users traffic/subscription as you have mentioned. Now, I have no idea how much cash they get from advertisers but getting 20% of the sales off the developers seem like a lot more profitable than ads.

I'm a moron on my phone at times. (more than not!) I downloaded the themes, looks very cool, thanks! However, I can't seem to get the weather icon to pop up anywhere. I do have Berryweather installed, but I always have to go to my downloads to check it out. I like the idea of having it on display like you have on the theme. What am I doing wrong?

No problem TS. There's always a first time for everything.

1) Highlight the App icon and click the BB button.
2) Click on "Move to Folder" and then on "Home"
3) Go to your App screen, click the BB button again, and select "Move".
4) Then move it to the first position of the App Screen.

It will then show up on the Home Screen. Basically, any icons sitting at the first position will show up next to the Time/Date on the Home Screen.

Okay, I feel dumb, that was too easy. Now if I can get it to show like the moon icon on the whole screen like on your OP. I'm assuming I switch the app for that?

Yes, that big icon is part of BerryWeather 2.0. Very nice app but kind of expensive.

Looks brilliant but....

At the top of my home screen it has the time and date but next to it is the messages icon, do i just swap that with the weather berry app?

I am planning to release the Black Wallpaper versions but would like to get a consensus. For sure, the App Screens will get black wallpapers. What about the other screens? Just leave them alone or would you like ALL the screens be black?

And of course, the Black wallpapers version will be free to all current customers.

That's what I was planning to use. Charcoal on all screens.

Pkcable, I know you were just doing your job. But you could have just ignored the thread and all would have been fine.

Unless some one else reported it. And that's the feeling I got.
