I am running .428 on a Storm 2... does anyone know why my yahoo mail and gmail icons won't skin?

I have had this Theme for about 4 days and since I install it I have had to do a batery pull 3 time a day due to low memory. I finally went back to the default theme and I no longer have a bad memory leak. I have a storm 1 running 419. any help would be apprecated as of all the themes I have tried this is my favorite.

I would try deleting it and reinstalling it. When I ran this theme on my 9550 I had almost no leak, and anything I did wasnt caused by this.

I did reinstall and still had the same issue. I use Weather Bug, so I uninstalled it. This seems to have cured the isssue, just not sure why it drains so much on this theme and not on the other 2 themes I tested.

I like your theme more then Weather Bug so it goes.

lol not my theme rorschack's.. but yea i have never heard good about WB i use berryweather myself

I use weatherbug because its free.Have been using this awsome theme for about a month with very little memory drain.Try clicking on weatherbug then blackberry button then set to refresh every hour.It refresh's every time you open it anyway.

I use Weatherbug also, with the default settings. I've had no memory loss problems at all, especially since going to OS .328. Bill, maybe it's got something to do with the OS you're running. The theme shouldn't be an issue.

Regarding themes: I did find that having more than a few (2-3) installed seems to eat up memory; and for some reason memory does evaporate over the course of a day. I currently have only 2 installed, with Miro 2 in use. I lose NO memory throughout the day. I still reboot nightly via Meterberry though (habit, I suppose).

I too have a major mem leak with this. I was having to reboot several times a day. now I deleted it and memory doesnt even come close to dropping to my threshold (8mb).
I just installed .451 from lyricidal and will give that a couple days to settle in and then Ill try this again.
My apologies to Sensobi. I blamed them for the leak.

Hey Rorschack. Thanks again for the customization for this (my favorite) theme. And thanks for all the help you gave me in ironing out all my issues. After uninstalling and re-installing both BerryWeather and Miro my battery is back to normal. It was really bad and I was thinking I would have to give up the theme- but you got me thru that.
I still didn't upgrade my OS yet though. I realized I don't have DM on this computer -just got a new laptop last week. I don't remember where I downloaded it from the first time-- does anyone have a link?? Once I do that- I am going to attempt to upgrade. LOL So stand by folks- I may be needed your help. Never did this before.

If you want to try Berryweather, there is a free version called BeWeather and it is available from AppWorld. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the paid version, but if you are looking for basic weather coverage, this will serve the purpose.

Is there a weather application that DOES update correctly on the first screen using OS version .320? I have tried Berryweather and it does not. I hate to just start downloading different applications and testing them if someone knows of some that work already. Thanks.

unfortunately short of going to a leaked or hybrid operating system it will not update properly.

Sharp looking theme, almost makes me wish I still had my Storm...........almost that is. BTW I use BerryWeather and have been very happy with it, can't remember a leak that it did not work with, on my Tour that is.

Curious how long it took for the author of this theme to send back the OTA link after purchase. I'm fairly patient, but as a self employed business owner, find prompt customer service is paramount to profitability, which motivates developers to provide great products for us to enjoy. Just my 2 cents....

He might not check it everyday, I would continue to check this thread over the next 2 or 3 weeks, it looks like he logs in about once every two weeks or so.
