Thread: OTA apps for 9550

Okay some of my apps I could not reinstall and others say not compatible with the S2. So I am going to put some of them here for you.

Google Voice OTA Download

Sports Illustrated OTA Download

Poynt OTA Download

Pandora OTA Download

Youtube App OTA Download

iheartradio OTA Download

Each time I try to d/l BBM5.0 to S2, it get stuck at "checking email status" although I've set this up before w/S1.. Someone help please

I had that same problem, its not a problem with installing it but with it restoring your contacts from the email backup.

Solution.
resotre you backup from DM by performing and advanced restore. Search for and find your most recent backup file (named x-xx-xx.ipd) select only your blackberry messenger information and sync it over.

This worked for me.

Has anyone had any luck with Google Voice? I was even thinking of hacking the install to not look for a OS version.

I would rather not do the latter.

If you use my link above it works just fine.

GoogleMaps also works w/ S2. there's a OTA link in Softeware/apps. Downloaded it yesterday

Thanks P3...may be I will be making the jump to storm 2 ....since they have some working applications already!

Anyone having problems with SI from the link above. When started all I get is a spinning clock but the app never actually starts.

When setting permissions to allow, in the pop up, look for an option that say *do not ask again or similar, make sure you check that option and you'll get rid of that pop up at every boot up.

I cannot. Says not supported

J, the app is freaking slow to load and close but works fine while in it.

HAHA, well I don't have my Bold anymore. I gave it to my girlfriend. So I still have to manage both Bberrys, when it comes to apps and updates. I think I'll update my profile.
