Thread: wifi question

I have wifi connection at my home, and I have wifi connection at work. Is there a way that when I get to work my wifi connection becomes active on my S2, and when I get home it automatically switches to my home connection, or do I have to manually turn it on? Thank you my friends !!

It doesn't do it automatically? Once you have them set up it should pick between your saved profiles I think.

Yes, you should have the option to save networks and automatically connect to them under "Set Up WiFi" in Manage Connections... I was actually looking at it earlier today when I was looking at the S2.

Unfortunately, I don't have one in hand to get the exact path for you. G'luck.

I got home tonight and my saved "sites" was still opted for work...I had to change it to home. Now I might not have it set up right. Hoping the Mighty Minds here have an answer.

Prioritize Wi-Fi Profiles? Should automatically choose based on signal?

go to wifi options, then highlight the profile, menu key and select edit, on next screen in connection mode select automatic

Thanks...I have those set up that way. There are 2 boxes to check on that page. First one says "Enable single profile scanning" the 2nd one says "prompt me for manual connection or login"...should either one of those be checked ? ...and Thank you very much.
