    I have a S2 w/.320. Went to m.google.com/maps (version 3.2.0)

Downloaded installed no problem and works wonderfully. GPS acquires pretty darn quick in IMHO. Faster than my S1

I am new to the world of BB and recently got the Storm 2, first BB for me. I loaded the Google Maps and it runs but never gets me closer than 600 m, typically it shows me 2300 meters fron my actual location, this is... ummm... useless! I can sit in my car in my parking lot and the GPS/map shows me half a town away!

Any ideas or what I am doing wrong?

I'd check your GPS settings...sounds like you're on E911 only, which means the default location finder in Google Maps is cell towers.

Options -> Advanced Options -> GPS -> GPS Services: set to "location on"

Is there an OTA link for goggle maps? Everytime I try to download the new version, it says that it's not compatiable with the S2. How do I fix that?

I just tried and couldn't find it on App World but maybe its there and I just missed it. You need version 3.2.0. I found an OTA link doing some searches...don't remember where I found it but it does work. I never did get it to work using my S2's browser and going into Google's mobile site...perhaps they've got a good link to 3.2.0 by now.

FYI, I did all my searches on my desktop computer, then cut/pasted the link to the .jad file and emailed it to myself...then the email had the link and I clicked through that way...not sure if that overcomes the problem w. the other OTA links found using your phone's browser but you might want to give that a shot.

    Good luck.
