    Yes. Right now it is set to take voicemail only. When I am doing the show, I can open it up for live calls.

    11.21.09, and then i will take part in the fun. I think. the droid looks kinda cool but i want a total touch screen phone that does what my BB storm 1 should do. either way im excited for ya all. I get to join the fun in 24 days. (and not a day sooner i checked.) lol

    i have a s1 and got a free s2 all you have to do is call verizon tell them the S1 is a crap phone and if they dont upgrade you to a free s2 you will cancel ALL your services and that if they cant get you the s2 for free then to cancel services then an there!

    I dont think this is going to work that easily, otherwise EVERYONE will be getting a NEW S2 for free......Not going to happen!!!

    no my year is up on 11/21/09. I blew out my camera on my original storm on Monday, got a warranty replacement, and inquired, then called today acting like i forgot my upgrade date and saying how my phone leaks and run slows. Didn't matter told me i had to wait to 11/21/09 not a day sooner. I don't have time to screw around with more then i did. I can wait 24 days and get new goodness what ever type of phone it is. lol

    Try calling them and ask one more time, tell them you dropped in a lake and you need another phone, you really need help on this issue and since verizon is a GREAT wireless provider you figured they would be able to change that date :haha:

    Ubertwitter works, Facebook... that's all I got for now (still playing around adding stuff).

    Logged into appworld and all my old purchased apps showed up... "unavailable for this device" but they are available to purchase again. So there will be no transferring over in other words. You gotta pay for them again (as I expected with a new device...)

    I just gave my first try and tried the nice rout. Said I have had 2 replacements, still not 100% happy with the storm. I checked out the S2 today in a store and I want it. I have three line with you, and the problems I've had with the S1 cant we work something out to get me the 2yr price of the S2?

    Their answer "Nope." I think the person was new though because I asked about the 1 year upgrade and she read the policy to me. I'm going to try the store tomorrow with the same story and if that doesn't work back to the call center one more time before I cave and add a line and cancel after 31 days.

    I guess the being nice rout is not the way to go either. I did request to do the survey call, if I get one I'm going to light it up about how they dont take care of their long time customers and treat new customers better, etc...Hope fully someone will read it and intervene in the spirit of customer satisfaction.

    if you are on a qualified rate plan 59.99 and higher i think ...you can get an annual upgrade and if its not on your account then call in and ask how to get the annual upgrade..
