Mine is in the mail, should be here Friday!! I upgraded early and its only gonna cost $79.99 when I send in the rebate.

any ideas where can i get mine unlocked?

THE PHONE IS GREAT! FEELS GREAT IN MY HANDS AND I'M LOVING IT ... JK ...

Now I won't joke anymore, lets talk foreal here lol ...

Phone feels great, works great, typing on it its just awesome ... Phone came with .320 OS on it and I believe it will get a lot better as new OS comes out, phone is fast, no bugs so far (look at me talking like I've been using the phone for the past week or so lol) I'm working on some picture and screen shots for all of you who have questions or just want to see the S2 again.

Themes, I didn't try and I won't try either because I'm sure they won't work as good since we need a new patch from plazmic for Storm 2 so I'll wait on it.

you can CLICK HERE to contact them and make sure they support the S2, you can call or email them, wherever is the best option for you. I think they should support the S2, there is no reason not to.

I would just email them. I'm sure they will have no trouble getting the S2 unlocked.

How is the lock/unlock? And what sized microsd card came in your 9550?

The lock/unlock key is located on the top left of the storm...just press it.:laugh2::laugh2: I couldn't help it... i tried not to...really did..just couldn't.

Depending on your Verizon plan, you can do an upgrade after one year. I believe it is the "select" plans.

I dont know about the rest of you but i just got off the phone with tech support at VZW and they let me upgrade 45 days early. I have had to replace the Storm a few times and called today with a couple of known issuse with the new software. I get my S2 tomorrow, I did have to pay and do have to send in for the rebate but they did give me the customer loyalty extra $50.00 off and yes i paid the extra $9.00 to get it tomorrow instead of Friday. So my S2 envy will end tomorrow :aargh4::aargh4::aargh4::aargh4:

I've never had a problem upgrading early with Verizon. They just always make me renew the two year contract on the day I get the new phone. I have done it at least three times now with 0 hassles. Am I the only one?

Annual upgrade is available to anyone with a 59.99 plan or higher. (not sure how the family plans work) - there is a 20$ fee for the annual upgrade

I spoke with a VZW rep via 611 yesterday and she said that if your annual upgrade is within 60 days they are allowed to give you the yearly upgrade early if the customer asks. So those of you within 60 days of your annual upgrade date my advice to you is to call 611 and tell them you want to upgrade early.

If your annual upgrade date is between now and the end of 2009, call VZW customer service NOW and tell them you want to upgrade today! They are allowed to hook you up if you ask!!!

Lock and Unlock its fast, once locked the screen won't click anymore and the MicroSD Card is 16gb
