Well I just got back from Verizon with my S2 and all I have to say is :1244:this phone is awesome! The manager at VZW hooked me up I told her that I was interested in the Storm2 and she looked at my acct. a few key strokes and they handed me my phone free she said it was because I had a few defective storms and I was always a patient customer. So try going to the store and being calm honest and see if goes anywhere maybe you'll luck out like I did you never know !
Yeah tried that said I have had 2 replacements light still leaking and screen still moves, won't you work with me? No go.
To answer a couple of earlier questions.
1. Yes, S1 themes do work on the S2. (Oops, sorry, I see someone already answered this) I have the Blak-n-Orange theme running on my wife's S2.
2. To get your phone unlocked, simply call Global Support, 908-559-4899, and they can walk you through an unlock. I told them that my wife's job gives her prepaid sim cards when she travels abroad, so I needed to get it unlocked. Ten minutes later her S2 was unlocked.

I was just in a Verizon store looking at the S2. I had no intentions of buying it, I just wanted to see it and test the keyboard. I told the manager I would probably get one when my contract for my Storm 1 was up. We talked about the WiFi issues etc. I did not even ask the guy for an upgrade. I told him I liked the Storm 1 with the official 5.0 upgrade etc. and he said "just hold off until the end of November and I think you will be pleasantly suprised at Verizon's announcment for Storm 1 users". Who knows?

Yes, you can. As long as you do it within 30 days. Before I ordered the S2, I had purchased an HTC Imagio, turned out to be a giant turd imo, so I sent it back, waited a week, and purchased the S2 when it was released.

Hmmmm themes from Storm 1 do work on Storm 2 with the same problem we had on the Storm 1 with .328 but there's a work around it! Right now I'm using appleberry dark and its looking good
